I am just bit surprised why Filipinos born of mixed marriages between Americans and Filipinos have difficulty in speaking in Tagalog or their native tongue. When in fact one of the parents either the mother or the father can obviously help in teaching or even speaks Tagalog words while at home to familiarized a growing son or daughter. But while at school or outside of their homes they can speak English naturally but when they are at home they should be trained with their tongue of speaking Tagalog. Even those American fathers or mom sometimes speaks in Tagalog, so it is funny that these young Pinoys in the US have to be taught or go to Tagalog session somewhere or watch TFC just to get the hang of speaking in Tagalog. I just don't get it. Even if I for example have my own family living in the US I will teach my son or daughter our native language much priorities than speaking in English. Kaso hindi eh. Ang nakikita ko sa ibang Pinoys payabangan na lang sa pagsasalita ng English among friends or gatherings. As if speaking or writing in English makes us more Filipinos which in the end is the reverse of it. Dito nga bawal ang puro Tagalog words or else your questions could be deleted. I tried twice to write questionnaire in Tagalog, awa ng dios na delete even the response to it. Is it the fault of the parents that we have Pinoys speaking in English and couldn't speak in Tagalog? Some even asked here how to convert the English words to Tagalog so that he or she could understood it or Tagalog to English or we have children that once they reach the land of opportunity or the land of milk and honey they forgot they are Filipinos. And the only time they remember they are Pinoys or Filipinos is when they are on vacation in the Philippines, somewhere in Boracay or Palawan. to zakaria- I do not need your opinion nor your suggestion. Who needs you anyway. We simply do not understand one another then why answer my questionnaire. I will put up my own webpage someday soon but for now, let me be with Yahoo. I do not see any problem with that. It is you who have a problem, you cannot even show your own picture here but having Osama Bin Laden as your profile is for you a pretty good thing. You have a world of your kid. You think ur a genius huh? Well a legend in your own mind. You even block those who want to IM you huh? Why afraid that somebody will write to your stupid mind? I want to asked this so get off my back! You cannot even show your face, and you think I will believe you? Get lost kid!

Or would they be arrogant like people from other first world countries? I've seen how the rich people in the Philippines treat their servants and how they treat the poor. The rich people totally treat their maids like slaves. A lot of the rich people won't even look or talk to the poor people. Of course Filipinos are known to be humble, however, being poor and not having much can be a "humbling experience". But I've seen how obnoxious the wealthy people in the Philippines are. So if Filpinos were rich would the still be humble and hospitable???
