Best answer: You can use your WiFi. It isn't necessary that you use the Mobile Data Plan. To do this, I would suggest you put your home WiFi on the highest priority in the Internet destination. Instructions follow: Menu-> Settings -> Connectivity -> Settings Ensure Switch to WLAN is set to Known WLANs only (safer) Then click on Destinations -> Internet (or whichever destination your WiFi is listed under) Your home WiFi should be listed right on top If it is on a lower level, LONG PRESS on the Home WiFi Name on the list and select CHANGE PRIORITY from the menu that pops up. Then tap on the Top Most name on the list. Now, your WiFi should be the top on the list. Once you are done with this, goto Menu -> Applications -> Tools -> SW Update Here click on Options -> Settings Ensure Default Access Point is set to Internet (or Whichever Destination your WiFi is listed under) Then Click BACK Exit Thats it... any updates, will now download on WiFi provided you are within range.

Best answer: On the N8 goto Contacts. Click on Options -> Mark/UnMark -> Mark All You should see a tick mark on the right next to each contact in your addressbook Again Click on Options -> Copy Business Card -> To Other Memory Once the process is complete all your contacts will be saved as VCF Business Cards in E:\Others\Contacts (E: being your Mass Media Drive - NOT the Memory Card) Now, if you have access to a PC, follow the instructions below. This is the faster and easier method.. for operation without a PC look after this set of instructions. PC INSTRUCTIONS =============== Connect your N8 to the PC in Mass Media mode & copy the Contacts Folder onto your computer. Then connect your Galaxy 2 in Mass Media mode & copy the same folder into the Galaxy's Memory Card. Once completed, disconnect the Galaxy 2 & go into its Address Book Here press the Options Button or Menu button - however you want to call it & select IMPORT CONTACTS Then select MEMORY CARD Once the Galaxy is done scanning it will ask you if you want to import one VCF File or all. Please Select ALL. Once completed you will have all your contacts on your New Galaxy 2. WITHOUT PC INSTRUCTIONS ====================== This is a more time consuming method as you will have to select each contact on the Galaxy once transferred. But if there is no computer available, it is the only way. Enable bluetooth on both the N8 & the Galaxy 2. I would recommend pairing the two devices after making the Galaxy 2 discoverable in Bluetooth Settings (Application List -> Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Bluetooth Settings) Now on the N8 launch File Manager (Menu -> Applications -> Office -> FileManager) Browse to E:\ (mass memory) -> Others -> Contacts In the Contacts folder you should see files with namesfrom your addressbook. Click on options -> Mark/Unmark -> Mark All Once again, click on Options -> Send -> Via Bluetooth Select your Galaxy 2 from the List of devices shown in the menu that pops up - it might take a while to appear. If your phone isnt on the list, make sure your Galaxy is discoverable then on the N8 click on more devices. The phone will scan for devices & eventually show you your Galaxy. Select Galaxy. The N8 will now start transfer of the files to the Galaxy. Accept the transfer request on the Galaxy. The files will now land up on your phone. Select them to save to your Galaxy's addressbook. You will have to do this for each contact.
