Can you get on Netflix on a TV with internet capability?

Or does it need applications? I'm looking at a Vizio, I'm just wondering if it's like it has something like apple TV, Wii, Xbox, etc in the actual TV. Also, if it can't get on Netflix, what does the internet capability do?

You have to read the details to see what "internet" capability means.

A better choice is one of those media servers like the Western Digital TV live box. These run $99 and you can hook it up to any HDTV with a spare HDMI input. My BluRay player has about 7 apps. My WD box has 27 and gets regular updates.

Another good choice is the Roku box's. But I have heard their wireless ability is weak compared to earlier versions.

Hope this helps.

Netflix would need an app. Look for TVs that are advertised as Smart TVs.
