How to play skyrim on a MacBook?

Help!! I need to know how to play skyrim on Mac!! If I don't I might go through some serious withdrawals.

Either install Bootcamp - Which allows you to create a windows partition on your Mac, and therefore run a Windows OS on your Mac, and play it from there...

Or...

Download the Mac wrapper for Skyrim (I recommend the Cider one), and place the game files in the wrapper. This will allow you to play Skyrim natively on your Mac, just as it would be on Windows. It should run at the same speed as if you were running it within the Windows environment. Instructions and the wrapper can both be obtained, for free, from:

Use the Cider wrapper on my MacBook and it runs a charm at medium settings. Smoother than on my ageing Windows rig actually.

Skyrim is only available for the Windows operating system and so you will need to install the Windows operating system to play Skyrim.
