Show me another »Can you import a motorcycle from the UK to the US and register it?
I would like to import a motorcycle and then register it here in the States, I am a U.S. citizen. Is this possible/legal? Also what is the process. Thanks in advance!

- I would assume that importing a Bike is the same as importing a car. It has to meet US specs for that year model before shipping and with the proper paperwork can be registered. Not sure on all the paperwork required Check with your local DMV. Specs to be checked are safety items and proper lighting. Lot more of those for an auto than a bike but those are the main things to check on.
