In his last two outings Cain's thrown a 1 hit and a 2 hit shutout through 9 innings?

In his next game will he follow the trend and throw a 3 hit complete game shutout?

I say yes. Cain will throw another shut out, allowing less than 3 hits since his next scheduled start is against the Reds. Cincinnati has the second worse team batting avg and runs scored in the NL. That means trouble for them when they face Cain.

Well he didn't throw a shutout last night. In order to throw a shutout you have to pitch the whole game, which he didn't.

Depends on who they play. But the way he's been pitching, it wouldn't shock me.
