I don't know, but I think Social Services should take Bo away from the Obamas. He is such a cute dog, he doesnt deserve to be eaten.

This a cultural issue. We Americans love our pets (dogs, cats, etc.) and we have a hard time believing that any culture could use dog or cat meat in their diet. We need to understand that other cultures may have different religions and cultural practices, They have been brought up to use whatever meat was available. People of the Hindu religion believe that cows are sacred and don't eat them; they allow the cows to wander the streets. Jewish religion diet laws forbid eating pork and certain sea foods. We need to keep an open mind about other cultures. A dog may be a pet to you, but in many countries (especially those affected by drought) any animal that can provide food is fair game.
