Yes God Has been good to Me in many ways
It is the worship of the materiel money loving mortal world Of Human kind that has Not been so great to me.
I am a widow of a veteran ( at an older age of 59 ) so that makes me pretty poor now - though I was middle class much of my adult life . Now I have cancer and can no longer afford Medical Ins .Thanks to Republicans in my state I now receive the most minimal care through medicaid .
Yet I have lived 7 years longer then I was told I would
So Yes God has been good to me .

Thank you . And God Bless you Bluechristy...God has been good to me too. In so many areas of my life. I love him. Im grateful to him. And I will acknowledge him early and often. to Blue Christy - My prayers are with you as you struggle with both your cancer and your inner demons. Rely on the Lord, as he commands. Quit placing the blame for your life circumstances on the republicans. It is not the government's responsibility to take care of you. While I am grateful for your late husband's service to this country, very grateful, I believe he received benefits as a result of that service and it is unrealistic to expect the government to make life cushy for the servicemen's families, as well. That's one of the reasons our nation is in financial difficulties now...the government has over-extended itself. A person's service to this country is noble and appreciated, but that person and/or their family is not then royalty, to be pampered and catered to for the rest of their lives. A person's service to this country should be out of a sense of duty and/or a willingness to sacrifice, not an expectation that big daddy government will then take care of them.

Well he has allowed me to be blessed and prosperous or punished and unsuccessful as the consequences of my actions. If I believed there were no consequences for my actions and choices, I would have no reason to act responsibly.

Yes, so far, the doctors give me a few months to live in January 2011 and my cancer is remaining stable after Chemo, so far
