My cousins girlfriend went crazy on me?

I didn't even know he was dating anyone.

I posted ' Happy Birthday, Love you & miss you' on his FB wall.

This woman starts sending me FB messages like ' he's taken, he's my man, back off *curse word* , is the cleanest version. The innuendo is disgusting. She is in her 30's as is my cousin.

I've tried to take the high road and ignore it but she won't leave me alone now. I don't think my cousin knows anything about it & obviously she must not know we are cousins (we have different last names) which makes her stupid. I have my cousins mom & sister listed on the family section of my page (theirs as well) indicating our family relationship. We live cross country from each other & don't talk often. I know I can block her but it seems so silly to do so.

Should I respond to her? Tell my cousin and make him deal with it? Or continue to take the high road and not respond ?

I would let your cousin know the situation first of all and ask him to explain to her that you are both cousins.

Hopefully, she will believe him and apologise to you.

just let her know he's your cousin. if she continues to be immature then tell your cousin about it. [although telling her something like: 'you must not be that important since I had no idea of your guys' relationship' would probably make you feel better ;]
