What is your favorite classic fairy tale?

Question

Mine has to be "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." And I think it is one of the stories that Disney did not alter as much, but that is not the only reason. What is yours? :)

My favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast. It is story the teaches everyone to love people for who they are and not what they look like. She had to learn to look past his looks and he had to not be so arrogant and condescending.
This story can be traced all the way back to Eros and Psyche, which is Greek. Or the roman Cupid and Psyche story.

I would just like to point out that Disney only made the sugarcoated versions of the fairy tales. Many people do not know the original fairy tales are much more darker and gruesome. I grew up on both the Grimm tales and the sugar-coated tales. So I know both.

Well, I can't choose between Cinderella, Mulan or Aladdin. Love them tooooo much. Mulan is just amazing to me. I love the Princess and the Frog too though the movie isn't very old.
