Was Jesus influenced by the teachings of our Lord Buddha?
Additional Details
It's as if some of the things he taught were taken straight out of the sutras.

The Buddha came a long, long, long, long, long, time before Jesus to be very honest.

Yes, it's clearly explained in the prequels, where we see Jesus as a young boy beginning his training under a wise old master who believes he is the chosen one. But he is slowly tempted to the dark side as he gets older, and eventually betrays his fellow....no, wait a minute, that's something else.

Jesus's number one commandment that he gave was to love God. Buddha was agnostic and treats a belief in God has unnecessary. Jesus taught an afterlife with blessing in heaven. Buddha taught a cycle of death and rebirth. Jesus taught that God blessings the lives of his followers. Buddha taught that suffering is the main purpose of life. Could not be more in conflict with each other.
Jesus did have a major influence on his teachings. It was the Hebrew scriptures (what Christians call the Old Testament.) Every teaching that Jesus gave is taken directly from that source.
No, Buddhism did not influence any of the teachings of Jesus.

I am not sure but I do not think buddha was carved until 1200 years after Jesus was resurrected. It was after buddha was carved[or molded] that men began to ascribe qualities to that carving.

Buddah didn't exist. There is not one shred of evidence for him. There is a mountain of evidence for Jesus.

No.
Read the Gospels.
What Jesus taught is NOTHING like what the Buddha taught.

Jesus is God in the flesh. He is the creator of all things both seen and unseen.
