What is the minium size of a foyer?

In my engineering we have to design and make a house. i nedd to know what the minium size fora foyer is?

I would say that it needs to be relative to the size of the house and what you have space for in the design. Will it be enclosed or just open to he rest of the area. I have a friend who has a historic English Tudor. The foyer is about 5 feet X 5 feet with a closet and a leaded glass door going into the main part of the house.

    I guess it would have to be at least as wide as the door, so it would open. Then you would have to allow room for a person to stand there.

    Entry doors can be single or double, but they are always wider than interior doors.

    Go to your front door and imagine what it would be if you were to put up walls to create a foyer. It will be a learning moment for you.
