Need for speed most wanted not working?

whenever i slick the file which is win32 cabinet self extractor for the game need for speed most wanted its says that windows encounter a propblem and need to close and sorrry for inconvenience i have my pc updated with hardware but this aint working

it is because some files may be missing or unreadable that is stored in the .cab files.
are you installing from a disk..??
if so then it may be a disk error.polish the disk and try again.
it may not work,but still , if you are using win7,try running in comparability mode for winidows xp sp2.

I think problem is with your game file, try that file in some other system.
Or check problem details and get error code and search with your error code, you will get all required details and also how to fix it.

I too had the same problem and it'll not get solved by replacing any file, its very hard to find & replace the file which is missing...Download from the beginning to enjoy the game.......
