Archos 7 Tablet not working?

Question

I dropped my 1 year old Archos 7 Tablet off my bed and on to carpet about a week ago and didn't stop working until last night. Every time I plug it in to charge it, it goes to the " Archos, entertainment your way" screen, then flashes off. It won't even turn on unless it's plugged in. It also makes a high-pitched noise whenever it's plugged in. I'm confused can someone help?

YOur battery and charger port are screwed thers no point in getting it fixed
