I am assuming because you used the word 'live' that conditions are such (either I have evolved or technology allows it) that living on one of these places would be possible. The sun has no surface and is constantly changing, that would make me feel ungrounded. And in a universe where sometimes it feels that I am an insignificant cog and God doesn't care for me or even exist, that would be rough. On the other hand, the moon is cold and unfeeling (much like my soul most of the time). So existentially both are hard places to live...in the end I would take either one because both are still better at keeping me sane, unlike Earth that loves me so much it hurts.
