Rules of exponents:
x^m * x^n = x^(m+n)
x^m/x^n = x^(m-n)
(x^m)^n = x^(m*n)
(xy)^n = x^n* y*n
(x/y)^n = x^n/y^n
x^(-n) = 1/x^n
