Why is the movie Rango considered similar to a Tarantino film?

I didn't really get much of a Tarantino vibe from the film.

I've never heard this. But the film undeniably parodies Stagecoach.

Rango = Ringo

and do I need to mention the Plummer brothers? Yeah, this wasn't even slightly hidden.

    Now that u mention it, the only thing similar to it is the music like the, trumpet, guitar, western/mexican style music but thats it.
