What are some really good illustrations for surrendering your sin to Christ?

Our youth group is doing our own service for the rest of the church in a couple weeks and our topic is surrendering sins to Christ for forgiveness. Me and another girl are the main speakers and I'm doing the acknowledging we need Christ for forgiveness and then surrendering sins to Christ and she is doing applying that principle to our own life and forgiving others and so and so. I figured the best way to start my message off without being cheesy and stuff was to start with a real life illustration/story of grace and surrender. But i cant find one!!!! Can someone please help me??

Surely you've sinned and asked for forgiveness. If you're going to use a testimonial, use your own and not somebody else's.
