Why can't bethesda add more quests to skyrim?

Is it possible for Bethesda to add more quests/items/enemies etc to skyrim through updates? I have Skyrim for ps3.

of course. they did it with oblivion and morrowind, they'll most likely release a skyrim game of the year edition with a bunch of dlc, like they did with morrowind and oblivion

Yes, it's fully possible and will most likely happen through DLC, though they did add new kill cams through a free update. They said we can expect some DLC in the next few months.
