Does 3Ds Max Have Render Technique that allows me to use non renderable object to hide parts of a renderable?
I am working on a scene which has a lot of objects in it. To render all of them in V-Ray, it will take a lot of time. So I decided to render some parts in Mental ray and some of them in V-Ray. The problem is, when I work on an animation, some of the V-ray objects are covered by mental ray objects and some of them are not, so if I render them separately I won't be able to merge them together on my video editing program. Here is a simple example, what I am looking for: I have a sphere and a cube. Cube is in front of a sphere. and from the camera we see the cube and part of the sphere. What I want to render is only that part of Sphere.. Thanks
