Why is that so many "Christians" seem willing to depart from their first love, Christ..?

to embrace a religion from where the anti-christ will come ? Is this the sorting of the chaff from the wheat ?

..I only have the knowledge of what my God gives to me, a servant, and to tell others of the Truth which sets all men, and women free.

The time of the Anti-christ is close and whilst we know that many will depart in these final days, I am interested in knowing why they rush to embrace hell ? For we know that the first 3.6 years will be a time of world peace and prosperity, then the Mahdi will break a major treaty which will result in war, on a scale never before seen..WW3 will erupt and will result in the death of at least 2/3rds of the global population..and then will come the Judgments of God against an unrepentant world. Revelations is the last book of the Holy Bible ,the book for this generation...

'Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem'... tell me that you do not honestly know what is happening in the big wide world ? Many will depart from the faith in the last days, which is now..this includes Christians too... They are embracing Islam,and atheism,and have simply walked away .It is hard to credit that those who know the truth of what God has said would willingly give up eternity and life in Heaven to embrace a demonic religion, yet this is what is happening as the spread of Islam continues..Jesus Christ said, that the road to Him is narrow and few find it, so I pray that those who know Him, in Spirit and in Truth will cling to the message of the Cross and come closer to the Saviour, Our Redeemer, and if any lack wisdom, to ask it of God and He will give it liberally, to all who come.. James 1:5..

As Jesus said they are drawn away by their own lusts. They watch and listen to and read wrong things to pull them away from God.
They stop praying and believing and take on the demons of the world and that happens alot because they were never discipled and given instruction that we are not to eat out of garbage cans from the world. we are to have tunnel vision when it comes to Christianity but some read anything and they polute their thinking and deny God because we are to guard our hearts and our eyes. If we do get poison in our spirits we can renew our minds with the word of God. there are too many evil things on the net but we do not have to view them.

At last someone has actually answered the question which I asked ! If anyone has ever read Helen Taylor's version of Pilgrims Progress, they would know about the lusts that hit God's children, when they turn their eyes from their Saviour..There is too much worldliness and not enough truth..

Education and intellect allow them to escape the indoctrination from the child abuse of having religion forced into them at a very early age!

They are christian, Muslim or the other religions depending where they were born simply because they were indoctrinated by their parents as very young children. They will go on to indoctrinate their own children and those will go on to indoctrinate their grandchildren!

Atheists have the intellect to see through the conditioning and escape into the real world!

Agnostics have the intellect to see through the conditioning but lack the courage to throw of the conditioning entirely.

Sadly Christians, muslims and others are still held firmly prisoner by the self perpetuating brainwashing!

I think of 'I would thou were HOT or COLD but because thou are
LUKEWARM'....

So we think of lukewarm. A mixture of hot and cold. Not too hot,
not too cold, gets along with EVERYBODY, doesn't make waves,
all the family love them, accepts everyone, homosexuals, no problem,
go see the sports channel with all the others, no problem.

Go to church on Sunday, think while there about business,
have cell phone ready to make calls, but certainly LOOK alert
there, and tell the pastor what a great sermon, volunteer for
that picnic upcoming, really great food being prepared.

Covertly ogle the young women and fantasize about them,
because you see other guys doing the same, so no one knows.

These descriptions and just so much more gets rid of all zeal,
all desire for Christ. It's often a lukewarm message, everyone
COME, because Jesus LOVES you, and He doesn't ASK
anything of you, it's just 'gimme, gimme'.

So, it's not all the people's fault, some lies with the leaders.

Christ said it was impossible. Weeds are a much better analogy. The weeds are gathered in bundles Hell, Hades, Death, The abyss, for the final judgment to be burned lake of fire. Get it? According to Jesus and John, Christians who fall away so easily were never saved in the first place. They were just going along with the flow. Real Christians engage in warfare and preparations because that is part of a real Christian's life. See James 2:14-26, and then 1 John 2:3-6.
