Fuel pump question about psi?

Derby car is a 1982 citation the fuel pump is 4.5 psi, will a 4-6 psi pump work n how is the pump 4 to 6. With no were to pick water psi on it

    Most fuel pumps are electronically controlled. The 4-6 psi range is the operating pressure of the pump. If you're car requires a 4.5 psi pump, this one will work. However, make sure that your car does have an electronically controlled fuel pump and injection system.

    don't know what your doing .but rule of thumb is manual Fuel pumps for carabator is 6 to 9 pond of presser . Fuel injection is 50 to 90 psi

    I dunno but I'm guessing there is some tolerance. Hook it up and see if it works. Or just get a used pump on Ebay for a few bucks.
