Why are we supposed to listen to Christians on the topic of Evolution?
and it being taught in schools...are we really supposed to listen to the people that believe that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree?
Oh BTW, Relativity is also "just a theory" should we stop teaching that in schools too?
Happy Jack: Actually, I'm a Libretarian and Capitalist. Thanks for labeling me detective dipsh*t.

Jayne Savage: Can you please find me a textbook that says anything about how Evolution has something to do "with a big explosion". You people have 0 idea what the hell you're talking about, but then argue about it? Thanks for making my point for me.
Steady State model of the universe was also THEORY back in the 60s. Now it is entirely discredited. And should M-theory and String Theory be taught as fact too when they have no objective evidence to support them?
But anyways, most Christians do not oppose the teaching of evolution
People can believe whatever they want. I might add I think it's funny when creationist say that evolution is just a theory. Well technically it is but it's only a theory because we don't know how or why species evolve but evolution has been proven we just don't know how. Hell even religion is a form of evolution.
here's the thing with religious vs evolution debates...it's hypothesis from either you dont have the facts to prove religion and religious people dont have the facts to prove you wrong so why waste your time and talk about something with merit...with at least some concrete historical facts
