I choked on my drink and now it feels like there is something sharp stuck in my throat?

While taking a drink of my soda, I choked on it, and started coughing really hard. Now, it feels like there is something sharp stuck in my throat in the side right at the back of my tongue. It is very uncomfortable to swallow. Anyone else ever have this or know what's wrong?

Hey the same thing happend to me I m 13 years old I got acid reflux one symptom is food feeling like its stuck in ur throat and u might start eating less than ussal

there was tremendous force that was struck on your throat when you coughed and when you coughed really hard, your throat was breahing in air sharply and your throat was i guess you can say stretching. depending on how hard you coughed it can hurt in different areas also. your throat will feel sensitive and sore and even scratchy and being uncomfortable to swallow maybe its swollen? because when you have something so sudden like that normally can cause swelling. not a doctor just a normal person if you feel my answer wasnt right ask another person

WELL if you drank the drink out of a can - perhaps you were drinking Sprite or Fanta or whatever - you know the little plastic thing that you push into the can to open it? You might have swallowed that and that might be stuck in your thoat.
This happened to me when I was 13, god the pain is nasty isn't it?!

i'm not really sure butt
keep slowly drinking hot water
it will be gone in a few hourss or so.
it might leave you a sore throat tomorrow morning, so just take cough syrup or something

My guess is you probably cut your throat, probably with ice.
