Did i did the right thing and should i date her?

So i had one of my friend over at my house to help me baby sit my baby sister who is 4 years old and was that last week sick. My parent were out of state the whole week to. I do have to tell you guys this i ask my crush to help me take care of my baby sis. I also have to tell you guys this to. She has a boyfriend so i didnt made any move on her because her boyfriend is my back stabbing best friend who is a very heavily under age drinker and he gets jealous very easily and we are all 18 except her. she is almost 18. She agree to it and she was a great help with me taking care of sis. Around 11:00pm my sis finally fell in a deep sleep thank god she did. My baby sis get sick really easily and she has asthma. So her boyfriend open my back door that night and walk in my living-room all drunk and started to yell and curse at me and her. he then became a very sexual abusive to his girlfriend so i step in and got a huge fight with him and drive him away. she then said to me she had to go back home so i walk her home to make sure she was save. the next day when school started she told me she cant see me anymore. so did i did the right thing?

they are still dating but i think she deserve better than him but she wont even talk to me more now. I still really like her.

You absolutely did 100% the right thing. If shes not talking to you now after standing up to that guy then obviously she didn't appreciate you in the first place. You might want to txt or write her a note. Don't say your sorry because you did what you did and you did the right thing. Tell her why you did what you did and tell her the way you feel about her. Girls love that. Tell her she deserves wayyyyyy better, and tell her if she ever breaks up with that guy that you are always there for here and you love her the way she is and you love her and will do ANYTHING to protect her.
