For Liverpool do you mean?

I don't rate Chamakh as a goal scorer. His finishing and overall striker rate is poor. I think what Liverpool need is an out and out goalscorer, not a target man who brings others into the game.

Hoilett is more of a wide player rather than a striker. But he's the kind of player I think Liverpool could definitely do with, would be a top signing.

Grant Holt has been in good form this season. But I think Liverpool need more of an established figure if they're going to go for someone in their 30's. Holt is in his first EPL season and him performing well for Norwich doesn't mean he'll bring the same class to a bigger club like Liverpool.

Berbatov is still contracted to United for a further season. So it's up to United for who they want to sell him to and I guarantee they won't sell a top class player to a rival club if it's in their power. Plus I doubt that Berba would move to Liverpool, he has respect for United.

Kalou is a top player in my opinion. I like him. But again, he's more so a wide player if not a second striker. Like I said, I think Liverpool need a more clinical figure who can score goals for them.

Bent would be a great signing. Nothing else to it, if they could get him they would've gained a top asset. Great goal scorer.

FQ: Decent, yeah. But using the youth products effectively is what really matters. Liverpool haven't done this to the best of their ability in recent seasons. Great youth products like Ryan Babel, Pacheco, Insua etc haven't been used well and this resulted in them not growing to their full potential. It's up to Liverpool in how they nurture this next crop of players, for the sake of their careers I hope Liverpool get it right this time.
So from the above list, I think Bent and Hoilett would be the only good/possible signings for Liverpool. Other's they can go for are guys like Bas Dost, Van Wolfswinkle or Defoe.

    Junior Hoilett- he is going to be a star !
    Edison Cavani- He is a clinical finisher and speedstar and would combine well with his fellow countrymen Luis Suarez, but Chelsea want him as well !
    Oscar Cardozo- He's 6ft 3, great in the air, skillful and a regular goal scorer !

    BQ: Yes Liverpool have quite a strong academy side, Suso will be one to watch in the future !

    Darren Bent ofcource but I guess he is too expensive for Liverpool.
    Kalou
    Berbatov

    Further, if you are looking for a good strike, take Bas Dost who plays with the Dutch squad SC Heerenveen. Or Klaas Jan Huntelaar from Schalke 04. John Guidetti from Manchester City (on loan to Feyenoord). Try to borrow Lukaku from Chelsea for example.

    From the list I'd pick Berbatov too. But given his lack of gameplay, I suspect he is injury prone... How about Dempsey? N'zogbia is also cool in my books.

    Yeah our academy is really bright. But there is always a threat from the likes Chelsea and Manchester city to lure the prospects away. We shouldn't be like arsenal =P

    I'd pick;
    Grant Holt
    Hoilett
    Saloman Kalou

    Need I go on.

    Does it have to include strikers?

    If not my list would be;
    Holt
    Dyer
    Hoilett
    Yakatu
    Fletcher
    Dunne
    Torres

    If I could have them in my team I wouldn't say NOO :)))

    -I would take berbatov because he is a solid player and can always help United win games. Just looking at his stats, 7 GOALS in just 10 Games with 15 shots. :)

    FQ: Yeah. I bet if our first team played the reserves the reserves would win.
