What can i put in a 5 gallon tank with my betta?

i want to put i fish in my betta tank 5 gallon like 1 swordtail fish.

Additional Details

by the way. i dont have heater in my tank cause i live in a tropical country. very hot here.

Well.. you can be a yahoo user and do it. OR you can be a responsible fish owner and accept the tank is already quite full. Couple of snails could still work though

    You are at your limit for the tank with one betta. Just make sure it has a good filter and a heater (this is the biggest error that most betta keepers do - they need heated water), and your betta will live happily.

    If you absolutely want something else, I'd recommend some ghost shrimp (very low bio load, and you can add several to the bottom of the tank - out of the betta's top of tank range). They are a cool, non-fish addition to any tank.

    a sword tail would never fit in a 5 gallon by itself, leave alone one with a betta. you can only put one or two invertebrates such as a mystery snail or ghost shrimp in there.
