How can I get out of this?
Well for the past few months my mum has been having these Mormon missionaries come
To our house to teach us their religion, my mum wants to get
Baptised but I don't, I believe in God but I feel pressured
Into being a Mormon when I try to get out of the meetings
She says she won't do it without me and forces me into it
How can I get out of it?
Additional Details
I'm a minor, Btw

Getting out of these mind control schemes are hard because they prey on their victims using biblical texts. Best way to defeat them is to use their words against them because there is no defense against the truth. All they will defend themselves are what they were taught to say which may be lies mostly but remember all they know is what is in their book. Tell your mother the truth your not happy and you two already believe in God. Your not happy because of these people not because of God. God already loves you. You don't need to be reminded by someone else's words when all you need to do is look up to each other to remind yourselves of God's love. You were God's gift upon your mother as your mother was on to you. She probably wishes to join because she may have had a loss of faith or merely bored or God forbid if she's single and wants to meet a man? Missionaries all they do is pester so use that against them show them how happy you are and tell them how happy you are without being a moron sorry Mormon in fact be the "cough" Adversary. :p
Good Luck and God Bless :)

Well you definitely are in a situation that you can't get out get yourself out of if your a minor.
Parents have the right to raise their children in their faith, whatever that faith is. Your a dependent, your mother provides for you and your living under her roof. If you are an adult this can be remedied just by moving out of her home.
Those who say that you don't have to obey your parents are obviously people who's parents had not taken an active role in their child's faith. It simple to understand the civil rights you have within a society comes from your nation's government, the rights you have as a human being comes from God, the rights you have living under your parents rood comes from your parents. This is just how the world works. Your always under someones Law.

What a vigilant person you are, and for that I respect you.
Well, make it absolutely CLEAR to her that you have no intention of becoming a mormon. Tell her she can make her choices in life, and you can make yours.
Remember, God gave you free will, and since you only live once, make sure you use it!
Tips: When your mum is out of the room, get some pages up on the computer that depicts mormonism as bad, Maybe that will put her off when she comes into the room.
Don't let missionaries drag you into anything. I know friends that were lured into scientology and now they won't speak to me anymore for no valid reason.

Tell her that while you will support her in whatever decision she makes for herself, you do not believe the things they are teaching, and it would be wrong to join a religion you don't believe in.

You are a very clever girl. Just say NO! Mormonism is a cult. Not a religion.

Several questions; but for now I will keep it simple here. How old are you currently?
