Friend is freakin out. Guy facebook. Please help.? ?

I told her that it's just Facebook but she insist it's different. What do u think?

So long story short this guy likes her but is shy about it. He likes her status's once in awhile and pics. She said: she posted a pic of herself and he didn't like it, not many people liked it, but another girl whose sorta a flusey, posted a pic and he liked it as well as many other people. She said: she keeps thinking he likes her but then gets things like that in her head when he doesn't like her stuff or something. I told her its just Facebook and since he always puts emotions in his texts with her and everything except she has to text hik first but they text forever. he does like her i think but she is really upset and doesn't believe me. C'mon it's just Facebook. But she insist it's different. What to tell her. Be honest and nice please.

Now this guy isn't a sexual guy so he isn't just wanting sex and he has never dated that's why he is so shy. Neither has she.. But she told me that on her birthday he told her happy birthday and not the other girl who ha a birthday. She said he also didn't tell anyone else happy birthday at all, just her. But idk.
