Christians: Does suicide send someone straight to hell?

Question

What if that person was a follower of Christ and believed in him, and still ended his life due to depression or any other mental illnesses.

I am just wondering, I want your opinions on this subject.

According to the bible, No. In the bible there is this area called the halls of Faith and Samson is there. As you know Samson committed suicide and went to heaven.

If you are considering suicide though please let me urge you against it, there are so many awesome things to live for.

Yes. It is an unforgivable sin. Killing yourself is a sin and the reason it is unforgivable is because once you are dead you can't repent.
I would never committ suicide regardless of how bad my life is going. There are only 2 possible things that could happen and both are bad. Either you die and go to hell or you die and become nothingness.

The only suicide I feel is halfway justifable is if you are saving somebody else's life but you know that doing that would mean you would die, or if you are going to be tortured to death. If you know you will die you might as well not give them the satisfaction of torturing you.

according to the bible, people that commit suicide go to the same section of hell as murderers because i guess technically theyre murdering themselves.
