What small live plants from wal-mart can i put in my leopard gecko's 10 gallon tank?

i want to give her a moist natural-like hiding spot, which a plant would do i geuss if its not toxic to her. there are some little plants on sale at wal-mart, i dont remember the name but they all said "angel plants" and they purify air good. but there are dfferent kinds, if you know what they are, are they bad to put in her tank? and is they soil that she would lay on toxic or anything to geckos? it is the dark soil kept a little most, with the little white fertilizer dots in it.

Additional Details

Julian - i always look around in both, i never see any pretty ones that aren't aquatic plants. they never have little tiny plants that i can put in there, but i asked what little plant wal-mart sells i can use thats not dangerous to geckos.

*what* ~~ ty, its kinda helpful, i dont know the next time i'll get to go to the 99cent store tho. lol. i had $5.oo and was gonna get a plant but i didn't know if it would be bad for her. the reason i want i live one is for the little hiding spot in it under the leaves, where the soil is moist and she would like that, and the heat lamp she has would keep it warm, and i'd water it. maybe i'll still get a perty one, but to put beside her tank. idk. :/ idk

Hey kelly,
Iv been throgh your same situation and it doesnt seem to be good to buy live planets "At least most" But i never found any good ones at walmart.

If you want plastic plants go to 99¢ stores and look for plastic plants there is alot of good ones in many stores. I know Target has good ones. Once you find your plastic plant buy the little things that stick to glass and a hot glue gun. So just glue the little piece thats sticks to glass with a hot glue gun and stick it in your tank. Wait before till it dryes thogh.
Well thats wat i did GL ((:

Artificials are usually best. WalMart buys plants from many different suppliers and all come in having had various fertilizers and parasite/bug repellants which are toxic to reptiles.

I would not gamble with it. I've had plants washed and which I thought were safe turn up poisoning the lizards I was keep. The fertilizers become systemic within the plants for quite a while.

I would go to a pet store. Pet-Smart Pet-Co or any local ones, they would have more animal friendly plants that could go in a tank.
