How often should you check your gleason score for prostate cancer?

My father has prostate cancer stage 3 with presently in the lymph nodes area (according to him).

He only check his gleason score just the 1 time when diagnosed 2 years ago or so with the score of 7.

How often should you check it?

Additional Details

My father never had surgery. So its still pointless after that?

Once at biopsy and again at surgery, after that it is pointless.
