the major differences are:
note has bigger screen
note has slightly better screen resolution
note has faster processor
therefore more expensive

im having this problem at the min too, if you can live without the amazing specifications, the only question you need to ask yourself is, is the note too big to fit into my pocket?

personally id have the note, but consider also the new htc 1 x

well i have a galaxy s2 atm but the note looks sweet so when i sell mine i can get the note 4 £160 soo think u have made up my mind lol thanks dude
