Religion can be a way to get people to obey leadership while using less physical force. So if he wanted to create a world that was very hierarchical, he would create religion, to cause the people to always obey their leaders. This is a case for blind faith actually being a residual humanitarian stage in human thinking.

Let's say that he didn't want people to not be good at what he created them to do (intellectual reasoning) and instead wanted them to act more like sheep to protect them from going forwards, religion would be a way to do that, although it doesn't make much sense other than man would be more humble.

There could also be a god that wanted man's mind to be free so that he could inhabit the stars but this kind of god would be very happy to stay invisible and not interfere, I bet.

    HE does NOT.

Religion makes intellectual sense. When you have the whole truth it does. The problems most people have with making sense of religion is the gaps that were created when Christ's full truth was lost after his apostles were killed.

I'm putting a source in just in case you want to see how it makes sense.

Or put another way, why is Yahoo able to give us flashing on and off yellow stars but unable to fix the spell checker which was working fine until their idiot programmers broke it? Some things defy intellectual reasoning, is all I'm saying.

    I have 62 spelling errors.

God is all merciful and I pray that He guides you. Please know that the judgment day is coming and you still have time to prepare. God did not create you for no reason. You have a choice to go to hell or heaven.
Please use your head and choose wisely, decide now before your time is up.
    Read Quraan, Know the facts.
Also know that Jesus is not coming back, at least not according to Quraan and common sense (though most Muslims and all christians believe he is coming back).

10:36 But most of them follow nothing but fancy: truly fancy can be of no avail against truth. Verily Allah is well aware of all that they do.

53:28 But they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth.

47:14 Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts?

Well why don't you ask one , instead of complaining about it? If ones uses their own reasoning, they don't really understand the question. Here's a few question for you. Let me know if think they are intelligent or not.
Which is better to have Wisdom or knowledge?
    who said this:
If thou be wise, thou shall be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shall bear it. Do you consider then to be intelligent or not?

GOD gave us a heart and a mind! Trust me, GOD himself does not want you to ignore facts, reality! Those are many Christians, who would rather you not think--just feel. I understand your question, and you think that GOD wants you to have blind faith--but that is untrue.

Because "intellectual reasoning" is so terribly limited. I mean: most people are just not very smart when it comes to the really important things.

Because you can't control a mass populous with intellectual reasoning, the do what I want or die and burn in hell method works well for leaders looking for power.

That is the way that religion works. If everyone thinks for themselves, it is much harder to control them and demand absolute obedience.

God never commanded blind faith but specifically stated that faith is based on the evidences.

The people who wrote the Christian Bible didn't really see all of the flaws in there did they?

@Hu: Quoting the bible means nothing.
