This is the CD you can use sometime in the future to restore the computer to the way is when you buy it. (You can't format the hard drive, or replace it, and reinstall Windows with a restore CD.)

The restore CD means, that if for some reason, the computer's hard drive disk needs to be reformated, that you can use the Restore CD to get the Operating system back on the computer. It is a very good thing to have, because anything can go wrong. Its perfectly fine. =)

It means they're giving you a computer with XP loaded onto it, but they're also giving you the XP disk, so if you ever want to uninstall/ reinstall XP, you will be able to easily.

The restore CD is a Windows XP CD that has alterations to fit the manufacture of the computer. The CD will be used is windows cannot be repaired and must be reinstalled.
