No weight limit on your period its a natural thing and will come when its ready no matter the age I started mine when i was 11 my niece started hers when she was 10 and i have other friends who didnt start till they were 15 its different with everyone on age but dont think it has anything to do with weight other then when you are on your period you will be bloated.

There is no certain weight but your body mass can effect your period starting. Very low body fat can delay the start of a menstrual cycle. It can even stop one later on after you have already started having periods. That is why many professional athletes, like gymnasts, do not have periods. Also, it is the reason during puberty when you start to have a menstrual cycle you see girls staring to develop hips, breasts and an all around more feminine figure.

what? no way. periods come because your body is maturing and getting ready to produce kids. the first period usually marks the beginning of this growth into womanhood. some girls start at 12 and some don't start until 15. there is no normal time period or weight to start because every girl is unique and different.
