Question

Im only 13, and ive been going out with the same boy for nearly 3 years.
weve had our ups and downs, but these days we have been falling deeper and deeper in love...

well Im only 13, So Am i really in Love??
Dont Worry, I havent done anything sexual with Him..
Im a good girl ;)

Im really confused, coz there are loads of people saying
Your not in love until your 16/17. is this true?
Because my feelings are really strong for him.

You're in love when you say you are. No human or machine can get in your mind and tell you when you are in love. You know it when you are.

I went to school with a boy and girl who dated since 5th grade. They got married last year and are 22 years old. Obviously they were in love.

But, it is kind of rare. You may be in love with him, but that doesnt mean you always will be, or that you will marry him later. People can love each other but it doesn't mean they are meant to be together forever. Just take it a day at a time.

p.s. I disagree with the grouches in here that say "if you have to ask, no" because if this is your first relationship then you obviously have nothing to compare it to, and you don't know if what you're feeling is just a really good connection or if it's love. For me, I knew it was love because I didn't know what I would do without him. I didnt know where I'd be in life, I didnt feel like i could succeed without him. I want him to be with me good times and bad. He's the first person i go to, and i dont remember much about life before he came along. He's my best friend above all.

if you have to ask or question it then you're not. when you're in love you will know it. i'm 15 and i was in love my recent ex boyfriend. i still am though because we only broke up on tuesday. i don't think you have to be at a certain age to be in love. you can fall in love at any age, heck you could when you are 10. that's the thing with love, it doesn't have rules it can happen at any time. so if you think you are, then you are.

Ya, your mind can sometimes trick you into having those feeling where you think you are, but its one of those things you have to waite a few years with a guy/girl to answer, at least one...

I wouldn't recommend sex yet, unless you wana chase babies around and be dependent on the average tax payer, my way of telling you it's hard!!, Maybe this is a cliche, but if he loves you he will wait, if he just want sex or trys to sex you, he's wrong leave him, your way too young.

Love is love no matter how old you are. The feelings of someone your age are just as valid as any adults. Its been many years since I was your age, but I do remember having those feelings, and they are the same feelings that I have now as an adult towards my wife.

It's just puppy love I just fell in love with my bf...so yeah you won't actually fall in love until like your in your older teen years...and yeah im 17.....so yeah...but you know what that's up to you.....and actually don't ask things on here,cause your supposed to do what your heart says....
