English teacher who can't speak proper english?
Does anyone have the same or a similar situation?
What would you do?
She says "Don't touch the paper until the bell rangs"

....Does she have a Southern accent? 'Cause even though I'm a Southern girl and my accent is very very light, I still know people who speak like that sometimes.
If not... Well. So this is Earth after all, huh?

If this is the only mistake she has made, it isn't a disaster. It is the failure to use a proper idiom ("Don't touch the paper before the bell rings,") which is pretty common. Idioms are unique and must be learned individually. If someone grew up hearing an immigrant parent use a wrong form, or learned it incorrectly from another teacher, she might never have learned the correct idiom.
If this is one example among many, it depends on what you are learning in English class right now. If this person is specifically teaching you incorrect grammar, I would let your guidance counselor know. If you are learning literature, let it go. You don't want to end up as one of those nitpicking pedants who spends all of her time complaining about other people's grammar, so be glad that you know what the right form should be and leave it at that.

You need to be more tolerant. We have accents here in the US and perhaps in other countries as well. I'd hate to have an English teacher with a Brittish English accent but they could be very qualified in English.
We all have some difficulty with some accents. It takes me a little time to figure out what my Massachusetts neighbor is saying. His hoss doesn't immediately tally as horse in my head. As to the example you gave you know what she was saying. If you don't understand -truly - then ask her to spell it as I'm sure she has her spelling down correctly.
You may learn more than you anticipated this year.

I don't think you can really do anything.
Luckily for you, you know English right? Like how to talk it..
So she'd technically be teaching you is grammer and/or literature.
My non-Spanish-speaking friends had a Spanish teacher who had a heavy French accent.
She needs to be corrected in Spanish too.
