Show that the triangle with vertices A,B,C, is a right triangle.?

a) A(-3,4) B(2,-1) C (9,6)
b) A(7,2) B(-4,0) C(4,6)

note: proe above by showing figures that will prove the triangle a right triangle.

how will i solve this?:((

find d length of sides by using distace formula. i think its square root of (x-x1)square+(y-y1)square.
find sides AB, BC, AC by dis formula.
apply Pythagorus theorem.. base2+altitude2=hypotenuse2..
if it verifies, d triangle is right angled..
