ok i just bought a 85 trans am with a 95 or newer motor in it it was made for racing i was wondering how far a motor was usualy board out for racing

There is no "usual" amount that an engine is bored, for racing or otherwise. The only way to tell if the engine has been bored is to know what the stock bore would be for that engine and then disassemble it and measure what it is now.Sign in to vote!
