I want to enter Xfactor, but i have something holding me back?

Question

Im not very confident..
that isnt whats holding me back though.
I am in my last year, so i thought entering the next series would be ideal, that way if i didnt get through there'd be less chance people knew at my new college.
But i thought, what if i got put on the TV and i was really bad, that would knock my confidence in my new school.
i want to be a new person when i leave high school.
Could this ruin my chance?

if i am bad, will people take the mick, or are people actually not that bothered?

just give it your best shot, if it`s not good enough, you can always try again another time, best put in some practise first though. incidentally, i dont think people are all that bothered about a bad performance, some of the auditions on x-factor are so bad you could`nt do worse if you tried.

Just do it. Seriously if your not that good laugh it off. A girl i knew auditioned 2 years ago and didnt get past the first audition. You dont even sing in front of the actual judges first time round e.g simon, cheryl. So if you dont get through you wont be on tv.
You never know if you dont try though.

if you just feel the music and forget everything you should okay as for getting teased people won't be that bothered at least you'll have the guts to try you can easily say it was nerves and you felt ill

I reckon you could probably ask them not to show you on T.V if you were really bad. But I don't believe that you're bad just believe in yourself and go for it, you only live once and now's your chance!

Put your singing voice on Youtube, people will comment if it's good or cr*p. Then go from there.
