In the VERY long run it will affect it. The constant wear on your hardware such as your RAM and hard drive do take a toll over long periods of time. But if you aren't planning on keeping the computer for the next 3 years while treating it like that every night, then you shouldn't worry *too* much, but just be aware that if you do it every night then you always increase your chance (VERY slightly) of hardware wear and tear each time.
If you are looking for a quick way to get your computer back up and running, try hibernating. It completely shuts off power to your computer (beyond what Standbye does) but does not shut down, it simply saves what was on your RAM on your hard disk and quickly restores it when you turn it back on, letting you be up and running in less than 30 seconds.
