for " Smart Pinoy Sim " , the answer is YES !

you can use it in the Philippines like any other ordinary Sim.

" Smart Pinoy Sim " compare with other ordinary Simcard is just more convenience to the users that going abroad ( Overseas ) by pre-activated International Roaming service;

the Ordinary sim are not pre-activated for International Roaming, but you still can activate it for the service of International Roaming like the " Smart Pinoy Sim " .

aside from this, there's Nothing much different for
" Smart Pinoy Sim " with Ordinary Simcard

but because of " Smart Pinoy Sim " is pre-activated for International Roaming service, you need to de-activate it first before you use in the Philippines.

if not,
you will be charge as " International SMS " when using SMS,
