Hotel/Motel Chains that allow for dogs?
I'm talking about the cheap ones. I found that the Red Roof Inn, at least the one we'll be staying at in Ohio allows for dogs at NO EXTRA RATE. $43 a night.
Does anyone have any other el cheapo hotel/motels that allow for dogs?
Additional Details
My latest two dogs are 8 and 12 lbs. My first two I may have been screwed. I think they were in the 50 lb range.

if you search on expedia or anything like that, you can go into advanced search and click pets allowed.

Motel 6 allows dogs at no extra charge just like red roof it is supposed to be only one dog per room, but I see many people at both with more than one. Just be respect full of the courtesy rules and be discrete.
Most super 8, days inn, econo lodge, and comfort inns also allow dogs but usually they charge an extra 10.00 a night. If you pick up some coupon books like room saver and travel buddy. (usually at rest stops and gas stations, Denny's also has them) You can usually get these rooms at a really reasonable rate even with extra pet charge. These hotels have internet and continental breakfast. If that is important to you it might be worth the extra charge because motel 6 and red roof do not have continental breakfast and they charge for internet. Red roof charges 5.99 for 24 hours and Motel 6 charges 2.99 for 24 hours.
We travel a lot with many animals so if you have any travel questions you can email me.

All the motel 6's and Super 8 motels allow dogs. You have to check though because some have a weight limit. If you have a small dog, no problem, but the larger dogs, like mine who weighs 75 lbs., you may need to check. The Sleep Inn's allow dogs, as do the La Quinta's. Days Inn's also allow dogs.
