I love the belly part of the bangus sinigang sa kamiyas or bayabas or fried bangus or relyeno. Tilapia is great too for sinigang or fried. They are both great.

It depends where the tilapia and the bangus came from.
A tinapang bangus from Cavite is superb.
A boneless Bonoan bangus is good although those bangus may not actually harvested from Dagupan.
The native tipalia tastes better than a cultured one.

Bangus! You can cook that fish in so many different ways unlike tilapia where you can only either fry it or grill it.

Whoa! Who would have thought that you could bake a tilapia?

Bangus all the way!!! I live here in the US and finding bangus here is difficult. I go to an asian market during summer and get maybe 5 of those, they only come in summer though that's why. And they cost, 3.99 dollars per pound. so i end up paying 12 dollars for one big bangus

that's a hard choice esp. for fish lovers like me. but for sure bangus (milk fish) is a lot tastier coz you can cook it any way without spices and it's still delicious. the meat of tilapia tastes flat and only the addition of spices/condiments make it better. baked tilapia served with mayo is great!

I prefer the milk fish (bangus). For me, it's more delicious than Tilapia.

I love fish. And I could cook bangus and tilapia in any ways. Like I can make relyenong bangus and fried tilapia with sweet chili sauce. Hmm...Yum, yum, yum!

Bangus, that's why it became the National Fish. Bangus only breeds in Philippine waters.

Both are, depends on the way they are cooked.
Rellenong bangus for me is superb and for tilapia, I love it most when it's crispy fried. Btw, have you tried chicharong tilapia? it's the best!

I prefer to eat tilapia on any occasion, just because it's easier to eat. I don't have to worry about fish bones that much because they are easy to remove. But here we wither fry it or steam it with herbs and soy sauce. Bangus is a more versatile fish than tilapia (or at least it is based on my experience). I like it in sinigang, or daing with a few sautéed vegetables.
EDIT: How could I forget relyenong bangus? My aunt makes delicious relyenong bangus so I guess it's bangus for me.

for me bangus specially the tiyan. i like it prito, boneless or with bones, sinigang, paksiw, sizzling, relleno, and whatdoyoucall it with camatis and sibuyas inside its belly. i like it with camatis, calamansi, toyo. with beer, water, cola or juice. but i dont like the overgrown bangus that was genetically modified.

recent studies said that tilapia that is farmed is dangerous to our health. very low in Omega 3 instead it is high in omega 6 which is dangerous to our bodies. so which d you like good taste or the one that makes your body strong.
